Palace look as short of a real striker as we do.. Love old Roy.. Tactics very similar to our own Dinosaur.. Arse look poor so far !!

Sides like Luton, Sheff Utd etc will fight to stay up, Everton look like they need the life support switching off…

How the fuck does Southgate still pick Pickford and Maguire ?, Fucking joke

Expect a bid from Moyes for Keane 🤣🤣

Dreadful.

I can sew the Everton fans turning on Dyche the same way they did Allardyce before too long, they accepted him last season to get them out the shit but won't want him long term. I doubt they will (finally) drop though due to the more garbage than usual at the bottom this season.

Looked a bad one for DCL.

Fractured eye socket? Or broken cheekbone?

Probably out for a while anyway.

Everton look pony. 2-0 down, haven’t raised a gallop, star striker off and now a few bookings. Reminds me of us.

Watching glimpses of Villa/Everton.. Some of these Everton players are stealing a living.. Whoever thought Iwobi thought would be a good signing was obviously pissed !!! Absolute shitter of a player.

Pickford....

After the man Utd no penalty, they were always going to call a foul this time.
He could have been off it given a yellow for the foul

The problem with Foden is he is battling for that position with the best player in the world. Once he's back fit, he'll be straight back in regardless.

Re: Coffee's Saturday Football Thread (Week 2)
Foden was class last night but he does need to start doing it consistently and controlling games. Ironically the injury to De Bruyne could be massive for England, in giving Foden the chance to really flourish and take his game to another level.

We really do have a huge chance to win the Euro’s, especially if another centre half steps up this season.

I think Saka is a nailed on starter now. Anything other than winning the Euro's is failure, surely.

Re: Coffee's Saturday Football Thread (Week 2)
Manuel - good point. He does have a selection problem though as Foden, Maddison and Grealish all look good so far. Bellingham, Kane and Rice will be in. He’ll go with Saka too.

Nice problem to have and at least the players seem to like him.

Re: Coffee's Saturday Football Thread (Week 2)
lowlife - To be fair to waiscoat he dropped Mount after the group games at the world cup last year, no chance he starts again unless his form improves rapidly. Foden is a real talent for sure.

I think Newcastle will def get top 4 again this season, a real top side now and will only get better.

Re: Coffee's Saturday Football Thread (Week 2)
He does - great player. Maddison should be in too, but Southgate won’t do that. Guaranteed that he’ll be picking Mount.

Re: Coffee's Saturday Football Thread (Week 2)
Foden has been absolute class tonight. Needs to be an absolutely central figure for England.

Another very soft penalty to Liverpool i thought, but a harsh sending off for Mac Allister!

Oh, and very Maquire like mistake for the Spurs second!!! LOL great touch from Martinez.........

Well, Moyes sure was right to ignore Newman on Alvarez. What a flop he’s turning out to be.

Manu looked shite, all those poor glory hunters who jumped on the bandwagon in the Fergie days must be wondering who to support next…

I'd say Maguire had a good chuckle at Martinez's defending

Re: Coffee's Saturday Football Thread (Week 2)
This Aussie fella seems to be a very impressive individual, he didn't even give a fuck if Kane left or stayed, some of their football has been of a very high caliber and he has only just come through the door, but yes the Mancs have been rancid with Mount stinking the place out.
